The practice was established in 1983 by Dr. Laurie Doube. Since then we have been dedicated to giving you a personalised service. We like to know you as people as well as clients – here you are known as a person not merely a number.

The practice services numerous suburbs within Adelaide including Croydon, Hindmarsh and Brompton. It has two consulting rooms, surgery, pharmacy, radiology room, developing room and hospital ward.

Examples of our equipment includes:

• Dental machine – this includes ultrasonic cleaning, polishers and high speed drills for excellent dental care
• Advanced anaesthetic monitor – both pulse oximetry and capnography – to provide extra safety during anaesthetics
• Blood pressure monitoring machine for general checks and to assist in anaesthetic safety
• Xray machine to take xrays of bones, abdomen and chest
• Idexx in house laboratory testing machines to test for general health
• Oxygen tent to assist in the respiratory challenged smaller patient
• Schiotz tonometer to test eyes for glaucoma
• Refractometer to test urine specific gravity and serum protein – both indicators of general health
• Woods lamp for the testing of ringworm
• Microscope and stains for the assessment of infections of the skin and ears. This assists in the optimum treatment of your pet

For ultrasound investigations we have chosen to use the services of a visiting veterinary surgeon whose total practice area is ultrasound. Gaining expertise in ultrasound is time consuming and difficult plus the cost of an excellent machine is huge. We feel that we can offer your pet the best expertise by using this service.
