At the Applecross Veterinary Hospital we pride ourselves in providing our clients with modern and up to date veterinary care. As well as general veterinary care we provide advanced veterinary services consisting of breeding and fertility, orthopaedic surgery, PennHip xrays and export consults including rabies vaccination. We aim to provide our clients with a personalised service to meet their specific needs.

The Applecross Veterinary Hospital is a large, modern, fully equipped hospital. We offer services in all aspects of veterinary care including vaccinations and health checks, hospitalisation and treatment of sick patients, surgery, radiology, reproduction and emergency care.

Our hospital is fully equipped and able to cope with most cases.

• Hospital facilities for surgical and medical cases
• Fully equipped surgery theatre with the latest anaesthetic monitoring equipment.
• Diagnostic imaging equipment including an xray machine and ultrasound machine.
• Dental care facilities including an ultrasonic scaler.
• Critical care equipment including intravenous fluid infusion pumps, blood pressure monitor, ECG machine
• Flexible and rigid endoscopes
• Laboratory equipment including microscope, blood glucose monitor, lactate monitor, haematology machine, urine and faecal tests
• Reproductive equipment including an endoscope to perform TCI’s and artificial insemination equipment
• Semen freezing facilities and liquid nitrogen tanks to store frozen semen
